A tower moment

Some time ago I was birding at the tower with a guest, and the Masked Tityras (Tityra semifasciata) showed up.  We followed them for a while and the Black-crowned Tityra (Tityra inquisitor) also appeared.   After some time, one of the Black-crowned separated from the group, we lost it for a moment, and then we got a good look at it.  It had a huge insect in his beak.  We were so lucky because we got to see the entire process of this Black-crowned Tityra fighting to swallow this big meal.

Wildlife PanamaI was so happy that I had my camera with me to capture the feast.  Unfortunately my pictures are not the best, but at least they allow me to share with all of you, the amazing moment we had at the tower that evening.
